After the woman listened to my plea with her, she told me that there was a $500 payment made that day to our bill. She did not know, who paid it, but I did. I had to take a pause and get a grip of myself, because I could not stop crying. No matter where our lives take us, I will always remember what you did for my family and me.” These are just a few ways we provide for the community. The dedicated volunteers are the most prized asset for the West Allis Charities, along with their Community Partners. The countless and unconditional hours each person spends furthering the mission has an impact on the community, which far surpasses anyone’s imagination. The “thank you” rewards received from those, whose lives we have left an impression on, cannot be replaced by a paycheck.
